Community Living Services

NCTC Residential Services is licensed by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services. NCTC Residential Services offer adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the freedom to choose the level of support needed in their home. NCTC provides services to individuals who choose to live in their own homes, rent an apartment, or live in a group home.

In Seneca and Sabetha, NCTC provides residential services in group homes through 24 hour staffing. NCTC staff provide assistance to individuals with their daily living needs. The services provided address the person’s independence, adaptive needs, integration, and participation in the community.

In addition to providing residential services in a group home setting, NCTC also provides services to individuals living in their own homes or apartments. Services might include direct assistance with health care needs, self care activities or tasks promoting independence, productivity, and community integration. The services provided are customized to the level of support needed by the individual.

In addition to working with individuals to meet their daily living needs, the community aspect of NCTC’s residential services is very important. Individuals served by NCTC Residential Services are very busy with activities, including dining out as a group and other activities as selected by the residents.
